It's been a long time in the making, but it's finally here...
With enormous thanks and help from the Frost family and estate, Irving Grose, Linda Stoneman and the publishers, Lund Humphries, I completed the catalogue raisonné of Terry Frost's prints this Summer.
The book includes contributions by Anthony Frost, John Hoyland RA, Stanley Jones MBE, Brad Faine and Charles Booth-Clibborn, and represents the first and only complete catalogue raisonné of Terry's original prints (not including monotypes). It will become the primary reference tool and definitive source.
Published 28th February 2010, a website has been set up specifically to promote the book: click on www.terryfrostprints.org.uk for more information.
The book will be launched at Mulligan's in London and Belgrave Gallery, St Ives, in March. It will cost around £45 and is already available to order from all good art bookshops, and the publishers direct by clicking on Lund Humphries, or Amazon.
Signed copies by the author and all the contributors are available for the same price, on request. There will also be a Special Edition of the book, limited to 100 copies, which will include a newly published, original etching by Terry Frost (proofed before the artist's death, in 2003), studio stamped and countersigned by Anthony Frost, to accompany the book. It's all very exciting!
